ProLab has been designed to make it easy for photographers (both professional and amateur), to have a well-designed web presence. ProLab makes it simple for the photographer to create easily manageable galleries, information sections and write their own blog in a website that presents their work in the best way possible.
The theme uses cutting edge plugins to bring the full beauty of the photography to the fore – just as any decent photography site should. I’ve kept things as minimal as possible to this end, as well as to allow the theme to be visually customised with an individual photographers colour scheme and branding.
Pages can be created and edited so the user has complete control over the content. SEO information is handled in the admin dashboard. Each page has options for titles, keywords and descriptions which can be inserted and edited at will.
I provide a full design and branding service for ProLab including logos, business cards, stationary and marketing material. Contact me to find out more.
Credits & Thanks
Respect and thanks to Felix Turner at Airtight Interactive for his brilliant Autoviewer image viewer and to Christian Schenk and Jonathan Schemoul for the SmoothGallery plugin, both of which are used on this demo site. ProLab is based on the Hybrid theme framework which provides a solid foundation to develop WordPress child themes from.
Some images in the galleries are from the excellent free stock site sxc.hu. These images will never be distributed with this theme and are shown to provide a working demonstration of the galleries.
